Engineering Clubs and Memberships

Looking for a few friends to explore the world of engineering with you? Consider forming an engineering club as an after school activity. The following club ideas can help you with branding, fun event activities and engineering challenges. You are likely to get a little hands on engineering experience, get a head start on critical team building skills, meet real world engineers, and maybe even take home the grand prize through one of the engineering competitions.
  • SWENext Individuals K-12 students, boys or girls, can sign up online for free to become a part of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). (Students younger than 13 need an adult to sign up). SWENexters receive monthly newsletters with role models, fun activities, competitions and more. Adult advocates can also sign up for the newsletters to stay informed.
  • SWENext Club K-12 students can also form a club within SWENext to join in on the additional club activities and competitions. Here are the San Diego Clubs.
