San Diego Engineers Week Awards Banquet Festival
You are invited to kick-off Engineers Week with the 72nd annual San Diego Engineers Week Awards Banquet on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Considered the highlight of Engineers Week, this Festival is hosted by the San Diego County Engineering Council in collaboration with local Engineering Society Chapters, Engineering Colleges and STEM Organizations. Join us to network and celebrate the contributions of those local people, projects and organizations who are advancing engineering and technology in the community.

"WORLD's QUEST FOR FUSION POWER"
Nikolai Norausky, P.E., will introduce the International Thermonuclear Expansion Reactor (ITER) - the world's largest science experiment - and the 110-ton superconducting Central Solenoid magnet often referred to as the "heartbeat" of ITER.
STUDENT NETWORK TRAINING
Looking to advance your career networks? In this session you will pick up networking techniques, meet engineers in various disciplines, and be able to practice what you learned during the festival. Speaker: Industrial and System Engineer Michelle Vargas, ASQ Regional Director & Associate Director of Pacira BioSciences.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Looking to meet some amazing engineers and volunteer your time during the festival? We have day-of volunteer opportunities from staffing the registration table, photo booth, photographers, social media reporters, and more. All will need to attend the dry run the week prior, Feb 12th, or by special arrangement.
