Considered the highlight of Engineers Week, this Festival is hosted by the San Diego County Engineering Council in collaboration with local Engineering Society Chapters, Engineering Colleges and STEM Organizations. Join us to network and celebrate the contributions of those local people, projects and organizations who are advancing engineering and technology in the community.

To help us kick-off Engineers Week, our featured speaker is Industrial Engineer Dr. Chell Roberts, the University of San Diego (USD) Engineering Dean. He will address this year's theme "Creating the Future".

"WORLD's QUEST FOR FUSION POWER"

Nikolai Norausky, P.E., will introduce the International Thermonuclear Expansion Reactor (ITER) - the world's largest science experiment - and the 110-ton superconducting Central Solenoid magnet often referred to as the "heartbeat" of ITER.

STUDENT NETWORK TRAINING

Advance your career networks. Learn networking techniques, meet engineers in various disciplines, and practice what you learned during the festival. Speaker: Industrial and System Engineer Michelle Vargas, ASQ Regional Director & Associate Director of Pacira BioSciences.
