Are you looking for methods to help advertise your STEM outreach event? Consider publishing your events in the following mediums listed below. Because many publications and newsletters post at the first of the month, plan ahead.
SAN DIEGO COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION (SDCOE) PUBLICATIONS:
SDCOE What's Happening Newsletter - Email email@example.com with your event details prior to the end of the month for publication by the 1st and ask to be added to the newsletter mail-list distribution. Monthly publication targets San Diego SDCOE students (parents), educators and schools. About SDCOE Communications

SAN DIEGO MESA SCHOOL ALLIANCE:
San Diego MESA Alliance - Several K-12 schools, community colleges and SDSU belong to this network in San Diego and Imperial Counties. For help targeting the educators and students, send an email the SDSU MESA Staff or for more general help, to the MESA Schools Program Director and coordinator Luis Topete. He can forward your event to the school demographic teachers and professors.
GLOBAL SWENext PUBLICATIONS:
SWENext Publications "Promote Your Event" - The SWENext Events Newsletter goes out to over 6,000 K12 SWENexters globally and over 300 locally. Fill in form by 5th (for promotion by 15th) and by 20th (for promotion by 30) day of the month. Specify target age group, location, flyer, sign up links, details.
SWENext Adult Advocate Newsletter - SWENext is a no-cost program for K12 students to belong in the Society of Women Engineers. Adult Advocates (age 19 and up) can sign up for SWENext at no-cost through the Adult Advocate Newsletter.
