WHAT TO DRAW
This contest is about showcasing creativity and bringing visibility to the engineers and S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) role models who are making this world a better place. To enter, you will need to draw:
OPTION 1 - DRAW A CREATIVE INVENTION - Engineers are changing the way people live all the time. They dream up creative solutions and work with other inspiring people to invent, design, and create things that improve the way our world functions. It all starts with an idea. Using your creativity, showcase any ideas/inventions that you believe might make a difference in someone’s future. Who knows, you may even inspire a solution to one of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. (Global Goals for Sustainable Development)
OPTION 2 - DRAW A FUTURE YOU OR AN ENGINEER - Engineers are continuing to improve the world around us. From space exploration to constructing safe streets for your community, engineers are doing it all. No matter your age, it all begins with an idea and a little imagination.
Using your artistic imagination, draw a future version of yourself as an engineer. It doesn’t matter how realistic it is. This is your dream of making a difference and a chance for you to showcase your future goals. Or, draw one of the San Diego Legends ( San Diego Engineering Legends) and take some inspiration from one of their accomplishments.
