National Engineers Week is celebrated during the week that includes February 22, the birthday of George Washington, who is considered our nation's first engineer.  

• The San Diego Engineers Week Awards Banquet is a one of a kind celebration for professionals and collegiates in engineering and technology created to welcome in Engineers Week. You can become more involved in several ways: (1) Awards Nominations open October 1 and close December 11th; (2) Suggest a new Engineering Legend; Suggest local folks to add to our STEM on-demand speakers and book author collections; (3) become a sponsor, join our partners in celebrating engineers and engineers week. 

• Engineers Week will be February 21-27, 2027. The 2027 theme will be defined by DiscoverE.org. Let us help promote your local STEM events during Engineers Week and beyond.
